On 15th November 2024, Chinese Embassy in Solomon Islands donated a batch of daily supplies to the local communities of Malaita province.

Chinese ambassador H.E. Cai Weiming said that in the past 5 years tremendous progress has been made in our bilateral cooperation, which brought tangible benefits to people of Malaita and other provinces of SI. China will continue to provide assistance within its capacity to help Solomon Islands, seek common development through win-win cooperation, and build a community with a shared future for China and Solomon Islands.

Hon. Polycarp Paea, Minister for Lands, Housing and Survey and community representatives thanked Chinese embassy for the donation, and reaffirmed their support to China-Solomon Islands friendship.
